In the dark of the night, a small town doctor is jolted awake by a thunderous pounding on his front door. With only the light from a lantern, he stumbled through the house, wrenching open the door to reveal a frantic mother clutching tightly to her gravely ill daughter. Immediately Dr. Finney ushered the woman and child inside to his examination room. He quickly determined young Sallie was suffering from appendicitis, and needed an emergency operation, lest her appendix burst. In his rush to save the poor girl, the doctor began the operation without the aid of ether or painkillers. Sallie died a most gruesome and painful death at the hands of the doctor who was desperately trying to save her.
Did her last agonizing moments on earth cause her frightened spirit to remain trapped in a small house in Atchison, Kansas? Is it the tortured spirit of the guilt-ridden doctor haunting the abode? Perhaps it is the ghost of Sallie’s mother, broken-hearted from her daughter’s untimely and horrific death, seeking vengeance for her suffering on any man who dares to enter the house.
Join Robbie Thomas and Michael Esposito along with Atchison Media Services and Rockhaven Films, as they investigate the most haunted house in America, and open the Gateway to the Paranormal.

As producer of The Sallie House documentary I can only say that it was one of the most exciting projects with which I’ve been involved. The interviews are all first person experience and while we were shooting these ordinary neighbors and citizens it dawned on me that there was something going on in this residence and that this was not another spook hunt or bed and breakfast trying to profit on some fairytale they made up. This house stands vacant. The owner does not promote it in anyway and even discourages visits to the place. Our crew was very fortunate to have the access we were granted and would like to thank Mr. Smith again for his patience. It is a very unique documentary in that it was made by people who live in the community. Despite our modest crew, I think that there is an element to the production that will affect you at a level that will have you questioning your beliefs about what happens to all of us when we die. Enjoy. Scott Unruh/AMS
We just added a nice little trailer on our DVD that features the ADPI demon photo. This is an incredible photograph taken in February of 2008. It is one of the few photographs that I’ve seen taken in the Sallie House that really bothers me. There have been all sorts of phenomena captured at 508 Second but this photograph haunts my thoughts everytime I drive past it now. It is a truely remarkable example of some of the incredible photos that people continue to capture on their visits to The Sallie House
I would like to thank everyone who helped make our Atchison Premier the success it turned out to be. I am glad we had so many locals interested in this house and was very pleased with our production’s reception. Thank you everybody!!! Special thanks to Chuck Pulliam who played Dr. Finney. He was the one who made it all come together. Thanks Chuck!
This is the latest update to our ongoing edit of “The Sallie House Movie.” We are proud to announce that AMS has signed a distribution contract with UFOTV of Hollywood, California. UFOTV plans to offer “The Sallie House” movie as a two disc set with a special features disc containing the entire Jerry Talbert interview and many of his and KPG’s (Kansas Paranormal Group) EVP which were collected at the house. Also it will contain an interview with the principals of ADPI (After Dark Paranormal Investigators) about their incredible “demon” photo taken in the house as well as some shots of the Fort Wayne Paranormalcom convention, Summer 2009. We hope you all get a chance to see some of these special features at UFOTV.com.
For everyone who enjoyed this production, we would like to announce a second collaboration with Rockhaven Films. It is a project which will further the history and advance the investigation of the famous “Montezuma’s Treasure. The movie will be “driven” by a realtime attempt at learning the secret of Three Lakes, Utah which, because of “supernatural” events, has become a deadend for many treasure hunters. New technology will allow us to go where divers have not been able to go. The history of the search for this lost horde will supply the viewer with the astonishing story of the search for Montezuma’s Treasure in southern Utah. We will keep you posted as the production evolves!
